Today I got some good news on the Japan job front, and I can catch a dirt cheap flight to Tokyo on July 3, but alas I will run out of money before then. I must save up before I book. The risk is too great. Today I packed up my desk, and I am using my TV as a computer screen, which is TERRIBLE for podcast editing :(

Why so so many of my colds start with a runny nose, then progress to sore throat/earache, then as my early symptoms get better I get a cough/chest infection? Any medical mates able to answer this, or should I ask on Reddit?

40% done for my preparation for my move to Japan. All I need is another week and a half of focus on it, dawn till dusk and I'll be ready to hop on a plane, but alas, I need to save up first, and the work contract ended early. I'll work on this much slower once I get a job. If anyone knows of any jobs going, let me know. I'm happy with almost anything. I leave in a couple months.

I'm at slutwalk in the city listening to some feminists giving talks. It's exactly what you'd expect. No, wait, that opens the interperetation far too wide. It's exactly what *I* expected, and you can still make of that what you will.

i'm at the perth reddit meetup at the moon and sixpence. It's pretty awesome. It's like the internet, except it's in real life and everyone is wearing clothes. Well, everyone else.

Between 1985 and 2005, the number jumped from 69 000to 158 000 in 2005, more than doubling - My age bracket, 20-24 is the 4th biggest bracket, with 25-29, 30-34, 35-40 all being more common, in that order. I stole a bite out of my dad's sandwich which he had made with scone bread. You know, thickly sliced bread made out of the same dough you make scones. It's awesome for spreading jam on, except he use it for lunch sandwiches. It tasted like I was eating buttermilk pancakes made with meat. And it was crunchy.
